And if you’ve been paying attention, you can feel the shift.
The air is softer.
The light is staying a little longer.
Things that looked still just a few weeks ago are beginning to bloom.
Spring has a way of reminding us:
What felt dormant… was never dead.
It was preparing.
And so were you.
We’ve come through a season that asked a lot of us.
Winter required endurance.
It required stillness in moments we didn’t choose.
It required us to keep showing up—even when clarity felt far away.
But this season? This is a season of movement.
Not rushed. Not reactive. Just intentional.
This month, we step into Innovative Excellence, a leadership practice rooted in creativity, vision, and the courage to do things differently.
Because once alignment becomes clear, the next question is:
What are you going to create with it?
And I know for many Black Women leaders, that question comes with real tension.
You are navigating workplaces that:
• overlook your contributions while depending on your leadership
• expect excellence without offering support
• require you to hold culture, clarity, and stability—often without acknowledgment
That’s not just frustrating; it’s unsustainable.
And at some point, every leader reaches a decision point:
Do I keep adjusting to this environment, or do I reposition myself as the leader I know myself to be… or even better, do I design my exit with intention?
That is work I can support you in.
The next three months will look a little different.
I won’t be hosting weekly masterclasses, but we will still be in conversation.
There will be opportunities to gather, reflect, and grow together—just in a way that allows for more depth, more integration, and more intentional movement, because we are not here to rush transformation.
We are here to build it well.
And while the world around us may feel chaotic—
while there are conflicts, noise, and uncertainty on every side—
We are making a different choice.
We are choosing:
Peace.
Care.
Clarity.
We are choosing to hydrate, meditate, and elevate.
Not as a trend, but as a daily practice.
As a commitment to ourselves and to each other.
We are not disengaging from the world.
We are grounding ourselves so we can lead within it.
Together.
So take a breath as you step into this new month.
Notice what is blooming—around you and within you.
And remember:
You don’t have to force what is already growing.
Practice the principle.
With intention,
Chanda
